The point of this page is to tell you what kind of information will be collected by me, Mimad, that may be personal to you, why I even collect such information and how it will be used or its importance to the functioning of the app.
For now, the app collects your user name of choice. It doesn't have to be the name on your national ID or official documents. It can be any name you desire. The app collects also your city and country where you are currently living. In the future, more information may be collected but for now this is all that is collected from you. You may enter a name of your choice but make sure you put the country and city you are currently living in.
Now or in the future, the information that is currently collected from you is crucial to the functioning of the app. If you wish to make a comment on a product that you just bought(or wish to reply to someone's comment who just bought your product as a seller) or you wish to ask the seller a question about the product so you may decide whether to buy it( or wish to reply to such a person as a seller), it is visually comforting to see a name, even though it may be totally made up, than to just see a text message without a name attached to it. Looks creepy to just have a bunch of chats thrown back and forth without names attached to them, right? That's why I collect your user name of choice. Your city and country must not be made up. They help filter the search results when you want so that you may be shown only the products in your city or country. If you never wish to be shown products specifically from your city or country at some point in the future, then you can select any city or country that you are not from, BUT, for better user experience, the app will, in the future, filter on its own products in a user's seleccted city which may give worst user experience to you using the city that you are not in.
Your information will not be shared with anyone else out of my own will. Yes, there are acts of God, or the enemy, where someone hacks the servers and takes and shares your information in which case I will just have to apologise, but apart from such cases, your information will not be shared with anyone. If it is advantageous to me and you to take your information and incoporate it into a new app that I may have made in the future, such a thing will only be done with your consent.
Well, you can enter it into the database so that it can make your user expereince better. You can also edit it if you feel like using a different user name or moving to a different city. If I break your trust or you just feel like the app is not your cup of tea, you can permanently delete your user information never again to be recovered by you or me.
Yes, it is highly likely that there will be changes to them as the app grows and more information may be needed or nolonger needed from you.
